About the Role

The College seeks a Social Science Teacher whose classroom practice shows a commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will join a professional team in a collegial environment. 

This is a temporary full-time position commencing on 9 June until 25 September, 2026. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in Years 7 - 10 Commerce and Geography.
  • Foster curiosity, inquiry, and critical thinking through practical and theoretical learning.
  • Contribute to curriculum development across a range of areas within the faculty.
  • Cater for diverse learning needs through differentiated curriculum and instruction.
  • Support the holistic development of students through involvement in pastoral care programs.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Understanding of high-quality curriculum design, assessment and formative feedback practice.
  • Effective use of digital and blended learning platforms to enhance student engagement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
