Role description
We are seeking a passionate and committed Visual Arts Teacher to join St Patrick’s College, Strathfield to cover a parental leave contract from Monday 20 July 2026 until Friday 25 June 2027 (End of Term 2). This is a Temporary Full-time position. Working during term time only, this role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a hands‑on, student‑centred environment and is committed to supporting high‑quality practical learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality Visual Arts teaching and learning programs from Stage 3 to Stage 5
- Teach Photographic and Digital Media where required
- Create engaging, inclusive, and differentiated learning experiences
- Maintain a safe, positive, and well managed classroom environment
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Visual Arts faculty and across the College
- Contribute to assessment design, marking, and reporting
- Participate in the College’s Co‑Curricular program
- Uphold the Catholic ethos and values of a school in the Edmund Rice tradition
