Role description

We are seeking a passionate and committed Visual Arts Teacher to join St Patrick’s College, Strathfield to cover a parental leave contract from Monday 20 July 2026 until Friday 25 June 2027 (End of Term 2). This is a Temporary Full-time position. Working during term time only, this role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a hands‑on, student‑centred environment and is committed to supporting high‑quality practical learning. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Deliver high quality Visual Arts teaching and learning programs from Stage 3 to Stage 5 
  • Teach Photographic and Digital Media where required 
  • Create engaging, inclusive, and differentiated learning experiences 
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and well managed classroom environment 
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Visual Arts faculty and across the College 
  • Contribute to assessment design, marking, and reporting 
  • Participate in the College’s Co‑Curricular program 
  • Uphold the Catholic ethos and values of a school in the Edmund Rice tradition
