Kyogle High School is located in the Northern Rivers of NSW with approximately 320 students, of whom 12% identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. Position Information
About the Role
This temporary position is a full time 1.0 FTE equivalent across 3 base schools, until the 27 January 2027.
The base schools are Gulgong High School, Cudgegong Valley Public School and Mudgee High School. Individual temporary engagements will be created at each base school for the successful candidate. Please note that in addition to the base schools noted, there may be a requirement to service other schools in the area as required.
School psychologists are an essential part of the Department’s school counselling service and work in primary and high schools. They provide counselling and psychological assessment of students, to complement and enhance the work of teachers to strengthen student learning and wellbeing outcomes, and help families understand and manage their children’s learning and mental health needs.
