James Fallon High School is a comprehensive 7-12 high school of approximately 690 students in Albury serving a very diverse enrolment, with approximately 27% Aboriginal students. The school receives equity funding to support students from low socio-economic backgrounds, Aboriginal and English Learning students, and those requiring low-level disability adjustments. It offers a broad curriculum with extensive student wellbeing, leadership, academic and co-curricular initiatives, including a Big Picture school program with an Academy of 53 students and a large integrated support unit called the Diverse Learning Faculty across nine classes. The school is committed to Positive Behaviour for Learning and maintains a thriving agriculture plot as part of its educational offerings.

Position Information
The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. We employ, develop and support teachers, leaders and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students and to advance the wellbeing of Aboriginal people.
School Learning Support Officers provides support for students with identified diverse learning needs including disability in classrooms and other learning environments under the direction and supervision of a teacher to support the achievement of educational outcomes.
