Position Information
Liverpool High School (Provisional) will open as a co-educational secondary school in Term 1, 2028 with approximately 1,300 students, Years 7 – 12 and existing staff. The new build school is designed to accommodate 2,000 students.
The school will serve a diverse student body that currently includes 4.7% Aboriginal students; 95% of students come from a non-English speaking background; 78% EALD learners; up to 20% of students have had a refugee experience and represent over 50 different cultural backgrounds. There are currently seven established inclusive education classes. The new school will have existing links to the three universities and TAFE within the Liverpool CBD, and with local partner public primary schools.
The successful applicant will be leading the establishment of a new secondary school for Liverpool based on the merger of the existing Liverpool Boys and Liverpool Girls High Schools.
