Queensland Corrective Services is seeking a skilled Training Officer to support the delivery of high‑quality tactical skills training across the state. Working under the supervision of the Senior Training Adviser, Tactical Skills, this role delivers firearms, tactical skills and chemical agents training to custodial officers and instructors, ensuring programs meet agency standards and compliance requirements. The position contributes to curriculum development, assessment design, training evaluation and continuous improvement, while supporting centre‑based instructors through coaching, guidance and professional development. This role plays a vital part in strengthening operational capability, maintaining safety during high‑risk training, and ensuring QCS officers are equipped with the skills required to operate safely and effectively.
