Role description
We are seeking a permanent, part-time (0.6 FTE) Secondary Teacher to join our Dynamic Learning – Cessnock campus team starting Term 2!
Dynamic Learning offers a tailored learning program for children and young individuals diagnosed with Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, and/or Autism (Level 1 & 2). Our mission is to empower these students for lifelong success through evidence-informed methodologies that celebrate their unique strengths. It is part of St Philip’s Christian College, which is a rapidly growing network of learning communities continuing its journey to deliver holistic Christian education that develops the whole child – emotionally, intellectually, socially, physically, and spiritually.
FOCUS OF THIS POSITION:
As a teacher within Dynamic Learning College, your primary objective is to meticulously plan, prepare, and execute programs tailored to achieve specific and individual student outcomes.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Working with students with additional needs;
- Qualifications in special and inclusive education preferred;
- Completed appropriate tertiary qualifications alongside NESA Proficient Teacher accreditation or working towards it;
- Demonstrated proficiency in using a variety of teaching strategies to address both individual and collective student needs;
- Ability to foster a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
