This role is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identified role and as such confirmation of eligibility will need to be provided with your application in order to be considered for shortlisting by supplying a certified copy of the completed eligibility form available here: ELIGIBILITY FORM For Tasmanian Government Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander programs and services.
About the Role
Position will require travel between Flinders Island and Cape Barren Island so applicants are welcome from either Island.
Provide advice, support and assistance to school(s) to support relevant strategies and frameworks that contribute to improvement in the attendance, participation and educational outcomes of Aboriginal students, and the awareness and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures.

- 4 May 2026 to 21 December 2026
- 36 hours per fortnight, 40 weeks per year
- Four (4) weeks accrued recreation leave + accrued sick/carers leave
