Primary objective
The principal plays a vital role in delivering the strategic plan of the Department of Education and Training and is the leading educational professional at Bulla Camp School, who inspires students, staff and community members to optimise the learning of all students.
Context statement
Bulla Camp School is a small remote primary school, situated on the Victoria Highway 340 km west of Katherine. The nearest urban
centre is Kununurra, 170 km west of Bulla Camp along the Victoria Highway. Bulla Camp School provides high quality education
from Preschool to Year 7, across the spectrum of the Australian Curriculum and Early Years Learning Framework. Bulla Camp
School has an approximate enrolment of 20 students. The school prides itself on a positive and safe learning environment that
fosters high expectations in all areas. The principal has full responsibility to manage school operations as a leader of a small
workforce, with small organisational and human resource management demands.
