Education Support Officer (Intervention/Curriculum)

The Opportunity

St Anthony's Catholic Primary School, Millicent has multiple opportunities  avalibile for compassionate and committed Education Support Officer – Curriculum to join our dedicated learning team.

Both permanent and contracted positions avalible with FTE negotiable. 

This role involves providing targeted learning support under the guidance and direction of our teaching staff.

As part of our inclusive and student‑focused community, you will work closely with teachers and specialist staff to implement individual learning plans, foster student engagement, and help create a nurturing environment where every child matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively support, uphold and contribute to the Catholic identity and Mercy tradition of our school;
• Experience and enthusiasm in delivering literacy intervention with an emphasis on student engagement and active learning. Knowledge in MiniLit intervention programs would be an advantage.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to support small group or 1:1 support of students
• Has experience and/or is committed to working with students with additional needs.
• Has an ability (and willingness to learn) to implement positive and supportive behaviour strategies.
• Promote student personal responsibility through an ability to make children's learning engaging and enjoyable;
