About the role
St. Elizabeth’s Primary School is a welcoming and faith filled community where all children are supported to flourish and all children are known. We work together with families and the community, to educate the whole child. We are currently seeking a Learning Support Officer to join our inclusive and vibrant team.
The successful applicant will be required to:
- have an understanding, commitment, and support for the values and ethos of the Catholic school and the mission of the Catholic Church
- demonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children in accordance with Child Safe standards
- foster and develop appropriate professional relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider school community
- collaboratively plan and work in a team with flexibility, creativity, passion and enthusiasm
- view themselves as a lifelong learner, which they foster in all students
- display initiative and commitment to ongoing improvement
- have qualifications to work with students who have additional and neurodiverse needs
- have a commitment to pursuing and maintaining their professional knowledge and skills in the of supporting student wellbeing
- to have a sound understanding and confidently incorporate the Digital Technologies curriculum to engage students in their learning
- be adaptable and have a sense of humour
- have a Working With Children's Check and National Police check
