About the role
Our Italian (LOTE) Teacher plays an important role in fostering a vibrant, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every student feels confident to explore language and culture. This role supports students to develop an appreciation for Italian language and culture through creative, interactive and accessible learning experiences.
With a focus on lower cognitive, hands-on and creative activities, the role encourages curiosity, participation and confidence in language learning. Through positive relationships and engaging teaching practices, students are supported to experience success, build cultural awareness, and develop a love of learning.
The successful applicant will:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the Catholic identity and mission of the school
- Build positive, respectful relationships with students, staff and families
- Deliver engaging Italian lessons with a focus on creativity, participation and enjoyment
- Use a range of interactive and low-demand cognitive strategies to support all learners
