Role description
What we are looking for:
Catherine McAuley College, Mackay seek applications from suitably qualified educators to undertake the middle leadership position of Head of Year commencing from 19 January 2027, in conjunction with a permanent teaching role at the college.
We seek passionate leaders who will strive for excellence in teaching, administration, professional conduct, relationships with parents and the wider school community and a genuine interest for young people and their learning.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:
- A commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education
- An ability to develop and lead quality teaching and learning practices in the subject areas listed above
- A willingness to proactively engage with professional development opportunities to enhance quality pedagogy and student outcomes
- An ability to work in collaboration with the Leadership Team and other staff members to contribute to the future planned growth, development and extra-curricular life of the College
