This is a part-time continuing position, commencing as soon as possible.The Counselling Support Officer is to support Diocesan counselling initiatives and ensure high quality counselling services in all Southern Region schools and colleges by: Supporting the Counselling Services Coordinator to develop Diocesan school counselling documentation, initiatives and services.Assisting the Counselling Services Coordinator in the development and promotion of school counselling strategies across the Diocese.Initiating and participating in relevant data gathering to determine trends to assist in planning for appropriate school counselling resourcing across the Diocese under the direction of Counselling Services Coordinator.Documenting and reporting on the progress of initiatives as required.Being sensitive and practicing with the utmost confidentiality, observing the privacy of others, being respectful and exhibiting sound judgement.Research, create and implement collaborative school counselling model with standardised practices in line with Diocesan vision.For more information, please view the Position Description.
