Summary
Collaborate with students to develop and enhance their skills in speech and drama, supporting learning outcomes through school-based programs and performances such as musicals.
- Location: Stella Maris Primary School, Maroochydore
- Start date: Commencing as soon as practical
- Work hours: 5 hours per week
- Salary: School Officer Level 7 - $52.64/hour + super (School Salary Scale)

About the opportunity
- Create and deliver effective individual and small‑group programs that develop students’ speech, drama, and performance skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted feedback and strategies to support individual learning needs, including students requiring additional scaffolding.
- Lead the delivery of engaging teaching methods, materials, and assessments that cater for diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Prepare students for performances, musicals, liturgies, assemblies, festivals, eisteddfods, and relevant external examinations or competitions.
- Support students to build confidence, articulation, expression, movement, and stage presence through age‑appropriate pedagogy.
- Maintain lesson attendance records and follow up absenteeism in collaboration with school staff and families.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and school leaders, providing updates on student progress and performance.
