Role description
Mark Oliphant College is a vibrant, large B-12 school, with a culturally diverse community working to build connectiveness and consistency by providing a seamless educational experience for our learners from Birth to Year 12. The school has a strong focus on continuous improvement and an ethos of support for the individual, aiming to raise aspirations and inspire excellence for all. We are seeking an outstanding, enthusiastic teacher to join our talented and innovative team in tailored Learning.
The successful applicant will be required to model the school values Respect, Kindness, Belonging & Responsibility in their actions and provide an inclusive and positive learning environment in Tailored Learning that places the students as the priority. We work hard to ensure all students are provided with opportunities to succeed and that they graduate as well-rounded individuals who feel a sense of worth and contribution to the local and global community. The successful applicant must have a focus on pedagogical approaches that are suitable for a Tailored Learning environment, using modern technologies and a creative mindset that seeks to innovate and promote diverse learning opportunities for students. The successful applicant will be expected to work within an excellence and continuous improvement culture, with a reflective, open and collaborative approach within the Tailored Learning Team and the wider staff. Staff who join Mark Oliphant College will be expected to engage and contribute to shared Site Learning Plan, focused on the implementation of PBL and SA curriculum.
