Selection Criteria
SC1 Demonstrated understanding of career options and post-school pathways available to young people with an intellectual disability
SC2 Commitment to equity and inclusion, with a demonstrated ability to support the individual aspirations of students from diverse backgrounds, including those facing additional barriers to engagement or transition.

Role
The Careers and Pathways Advisor works collaboratively with the Careers and Pathways team to:
Provide information and guidance to students, parents and staff on post school pathways.
Assist with the delivery of workplace learning for students at the college.

Support the School in the planning and implementation of Career and Industry events.
Responsibilities

Work as part of the Career and Pathways team to support transition processes into, within and beyond the school.
Initiate, manage and assist with the coordination of Careers and Industry events.
Identify and coordinate Workplace Learning opportunities that provide safe, meaningful and relevant experiences for students.
Debrief students upon completion of Workplace Learning and refer to other college services as appropriate.
