Location Profile

Muyan Primary School is a new Victorian government primary school located in Wallan East, just under 45 kilometres north of Melbourne's CBD. The school opened its doors for Day 1 of Term 1, 2026, welcoming up to 525 students across Foundation to Grade 6.

The school was established to meet growing enrolment demand from the rapidly expanding local population, ensuring that local students can access high-quality education close to home.

Our purpose-built facilities include:

• an administration and library building with dedicated spaces for art, science and food technology
• 2 learning neighbourhoods
• a community hub
• hard courts
• a sports field
