Primary objective
Provide high level differentiated support to the NT Department of Education and Training in the governance, development and monitoring of operational policies, including managing a policy register.
Context statementQuality Standards and Regulation is the centre of expertise for policy, regulation, compliance, and standards for all areas of education. The Operational Policy work unit is responsible for the oversight and co-ordination of operational policy throughout the NT Department of Education and Training.Key duties and responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice and identify opportunities for continuous improvement through the provision of high-level differentiated support in the development and evaluation of policy initiatives.
- Initiate and undertake research, and prepare high level, comprehensive briefings, reports and papers on a range of policy related issues.
