Role description

The Opportunity

St Joseph’s School Hectorville provides a nurturing and enriching environment for children beyond regular school hours. We are currently seeking dedicated and qualified Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) educators to join our team.

Role 1: ACECQA First Qualified Educator (Early Childhood essential)

  • Permanent
  • 34.5 hour per week during school terms
  • Additional hours during vacation care
  • Grade 3 $73,425 (1.0FTE - pro-rata part time)

Role 2 & 3: ACECQA First or Second Qualified Educators (Early Childhood desirable)

  • Casual at commencement
  • 5 - 15 hours per week during school terms (negotiated)
  • Additional hours during vacation care
  • Grade 2 $68,824 (1.0FTE - pro-rata part time)

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure daily routines protect the safety, security & well-being of the children.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, families, staff and the wider school-community.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of an educational program and activities consistent with the National Quality Standard
