The State Government is investing in Technical Colleges that will set the standard for excellence in their design, learning environment and delivery of skills-based training for school-enrolled students.
Co-located with Port Augusta Secondary School, Port Augusta Technical College runs a part time enrolment model for secondary school students within the region to access whilst maintaining their enrolment in their current school. Port Augusta Technical College has accommodation facilities on site and offer four industry training programs for careers in civil, resources and infrastructure, health and social support, hospitality and tourism, and multi-trades (for careers such as plumbers, builders, electricians, and boilermakers).
