Role description
The Opportunity
Grace Lutheran College, Rothwell invites applicants who will contribute to our Christian ethos to teach in our Science (STEM) Learning Area.
With the completion next year of our purpose built, multi-storey STEM building, we are looking for a talented and passionate teacher with ability to teach across STEM subjects.
We are looking for someone committed to improving our student learning and to providing specialist skills and abilities in this subject area.

Position type: Permanent, Full Time
Anticipated Commencement Date: Term 2, 2026 - or by negotiation.
About You
This position would suit someone with a commitment to the ethos, Christian values and teachings of the College. The suitable candidate will also have:
- Capacity to teach predominantly Science
- Capacity to teach Year 11 and 12 Chemistry, Physics or Engineering
- An ability to also teach Maths will be highly regarded
- Willingness to assist with student holistic care (GEL – Grow, Empower, Learn), Pastoral Care lessons, Chapel supervision, Inter-School sporting teams or recreational activities
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary curriculum issues in Science and/or Mathematics education
- Awareness of National curriculum imperatives and QCAA senior syllabus
