Primary objective

The Childcare Director provides leadership and administrative management of the Gunbalanya CFC Long Day Care Facility, ensuring compliance with regulations and legislation. The Childcare Director operates under the auspices of the Arrmunbu Child and Family Centre, under the supervision of the CFC Manager and within the integrated services that includes the Pre-School, FaFT, Health Clinic, Wellbeing Hub and related services. The safety and wellbeing of children and staff are prioritised and effective, transparent communication with parents is maintained. High quality age-appropriate programming is implemented in line with CFC expectations aligned with the community context. Capacity building for staff in a collegial environment is delivered through formal and informal ongoing training.
