About the role
St Peter's Primary School, Bentleigh East is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all the children in our care. We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced applicants with a commitment to the ethos of Catholic education for the following position:
- Learning Support Officer 0.79FTE (8:45am to 3:15pm – Monday to Friday)
St Peter's is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Learning Diversity Team on a fixed-term replacement position from Term 2 for the remainder of the 2026 school year.
The successful applicant will have the capacity to:
- Support the Catholic ethos of the school
- Work collaboratively and cohesively within staff teams
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Assist students with personal organisation, transitions between lessons and assist individual students or groups of students with specific learning needs via classroom support or via targeted withdrawal programs
- Promote inclusion, resilience, communication skills and everyday life skills
