Details: Latham Primary School is looking for a high performing and dynamic Community Liaison Officer to join our student support team. This role focuses on building and nurturing strong partnerships with families, local organisations and community services. The successful applicant will help deliver integrated supports for children and families, contributing to Latham Primary School's identity as a welcoming and inclusive community hub that meets the diverse needs of its population in line with Directorate policies and procedures.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

  • Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Apply for or renew a WWVP registration - Access Canberra (act.gov.au)
  • Minimum of four years full‑time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to a recognised qualification in social work, community development, health, education or a related field would be highly desirable.
