Details: The Enrolment Policy team is responsible for developing and delivering the program of reform for enrolment policy and practice in ACT public schools. Our work is guided by the principles of equity, transparency, consistency and fairness.

The team manages the Directorate’s enrolment enquiry phone line, develops content for the Education website and other public information about enrolment policy, and provides training and ongoing advice to school staff to support effective and consistent implementation of enrolment policy and procedures.

The Senior Policy Officer is a new role. This officer will lead the team’s work developing and implementing enrolment policy and procedures for the ACT government’s four-year-old preschool program. This role requires well‑developed analytical skills, the ability to balance empathy and professionalism, and the capability to apply the Enrolment Policy accurately to complex or unclear circumstances.
