Temporary Teacher - Yr 5/6

The Year 5/6 Classroom Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging learning programs that prepare students for a successful transition to secondary school. The role focuses on developing student agency, independence, and achievement through evidence-based teaching, effective use of data, and differentiated practice. Teachers create safe, inclusive classrooms aligned with The Lobethal Way (Respectful, Responsible, Learners), build strong relationships with students and families, and work collaboratively within Professional Learning Communities to continuously improve teaching practice and student outcomes. A key component of the role includes leading the planning and delivery of the Year 5/6 aquatics camp and coordinating the Year 6 graduation, ensuring these milestone experiences are meaningful, inclusive, and well organised.
