Role description
Kenmore Park Anangu School is part of a remote Anangu community on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands. Bring your teamwork, sense of humour, flexibility, and solution-focused approach to a position that directly impacts positive outcomes for Anangu students.
We are seeking a B1 Bilingual Coordinator to join our tight-knit team. The school delivers both western (Piranpa) and Anangu curriculum, with a strong focus on bilingual education. As Coordinator, you will play a key role in implementing the Department for Education's bilingual policy, recognising Pitjantjatjara/Yankunytjatjara as languages of instruction and encouraging Two Way learning. You'll work closely with classroom teachers, Anangu educators, and community members to coordinate bilingual teaching and learning programs, support resource development, and mentor colleagues.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a small remote community and contribute to the Kenmore Park School Community. Attractive compensation, remote incentives and relocation support are available.
Financial incentives include:
Country Zone Allowance ($10,000 approx)
Locality Allowance ($10,000 approx)
Fully subsidised accommodation (shared, includes utilities)
Payment of removal expenses
Remission and reduction of HELP debts for teachers in very remote areas
To ensure duty of care compliance on APY Lands, a wellness check will be conducted for nominees prior to offer.
