About us

At Warakirri College, we educate young people aged 15–22 who have disengaged from mainstream schooling—often due to anxiety, depression, or social disadvantage. Our students are capable, curious, and resilient. They simply need the right environment and dedicated, passionate staff to thrive.

The Administration Officer plays a vital role in supporting the effective and efficient operation of the College, contributing to the overall success and well-being of students, staff and the College community. This role oversees and supports the day-to-day administrative tasks in the Distance Education team and across the wider College, as required.

About The Role

  • Manage a wide range of school communications – face-to-face, emails, phone calls
  • Manage student enrolment and attendance data in Sentral (a school management system)
  • Organise and maintain the front office working area, when required
  • Attend to unwell students, and administer first aid, when required
  • Organise stationery and grocery orders for the campus
  • Attend to any other tasks as requested by the Manager of Distance Education or Deputy Principal
  • Required to work some non-term time.
  • Immediate start

About You

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a Receptionist/Administration role with previous experience in an education setting an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Well organised and possess excellent communication skills with attention to detail
