School Learning Support Assistant – Commencing Term 2, 2026
Part-time 20 hours per week

Nestled within a beautiful setting, the Central Coast Steiner School is a thriving independent school with over 350 students. We have a beautiful bushland campus and outstanding facilities, and we are located close to some of the most exquisite beaches on the Central Coast. The School fosters an atmosphere where students develop into intellectually curious individuals and compassionate, socially responsible global citizens.

We are seeking a part-time Primary Teacher’s Assistant to work during term time. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a team of collegiate educators and wonderful Primary School students where the focus is on the whole person. Key Selection Criteria:

The successful candidate will ideally:

  • have attained a minimum qualification of Certificate III in Education Support (CHC30213)
  • understand the principles and practices of Steiner education, or show a willingness to learn
  • show a sound understanding of the NSW Australian primary curriculum
  • demonstrate a high level of competence in making adjustments for students who need support
  • have experience or understanding of working with neurodivergent children, with a nurturing and inclusive approach
  • demonstrate a sound understanding of differentiation practices and is skilled in applying these understandings
  • have excellent standards in literacy and numeracy
