Position Information
Lismore South Public School is a rural school located in the Northern Rivers of NSW on Bundjalung country. The school caters for students from Preschool to Year 6. The school currently has six K–6 classes and a current student enrolment of 115, including the preschool. Twenty-four percent of students identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander. The school values its strong connection with parents and the wider community.
Work is currently underway on the rebuild of Lismore South Public School and the Lismore South Public School Ngulliboo Jarjums Preschool following significant flooding in 2022. Students are currently learning from a temporary school on the sports ground while the permanent facilities are being rebuilt. We anticipate the new facilities will open towards the end of 2026.
