Role description
Bacchus Marsh Grammar is an independent, co-educational non-denominational, Prep Reception to Year 12 School with three vibrant campuses in Melbourne’s west. The school prides itself on being an employer of choice and the professionalism, diligence and quality of its staff.
Position
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Japanese Teacher to join the team at our Woodlea Campus. This is a full time, ongoing role. The successful applicant may be required to teach across all year levels and will inspire our students to develop strong communication skills, cultural awareness and a love of languages.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high quality language lessons aligned with curriculum standards;
- Teach French to students at various levels;
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress;
- Encourage student’s interest in language and culture
Key Selection Criteria
Applicants will be required to meet the following criteria:
- Appropriate teaching qualifications, with an ability to become registered in Victoria as a Teacher;
- Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or Australian interstate equivalent;
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Japanese teacher.
- First aid certificate.
- Valid driver’s licence.
