Role description
Marist College Canberra is a Congregational Catholic school for boys (Year 4-12) operating as part of ‘Marist Schools Australia’. It enjoys an excellent reputation for its pastoral care of students, academic studies, cultural and sport pursuits. The College is driven by staff who are committed to making a difference in the education of boys.
Marist College Canberra is seeking an energetic and committed Inclusive Education Teacher to work across Years 4–12 in our dynamic Inclusive Education environment.
The Inclusive Education Teacher plays a vital role in supporting a diverse range of students with varied learning profiles. The role involves working collaboratively with classroom teachers, support staff, students, families, and specialists to ensure equitable access to learning and positive educational outcomes. You will contribute to creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and supports the success of every student. The position also involves providing personalised assessment and feedback, maintaining accurate records of student progress, and ensuring individual learning needs are effectively identified and met.
We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and graduate teachers who are eager to embark on their teaching career.
Staff at Marist College Canberra are responsible for the promotion of an atmosphere of charity and justice within the College, as is expected in a Catholic community and to help ensure the provision of the Catholic perspective in the teaching and learning process and in all the activities of the College.
