Role description
Macarthur is an independent Anglican co-educational Transition to Year 12 school with a strong academic and co-curricular focus, catering for students of all ability levels. It is located in picturesque Cobbitty on over 85 magnificent acres, 50 minutes from the CBDs of Sydney and Wollongong. The Headmaster seeks to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced Christian educator who demonstrates a commitment to their Christian faith, as evidenced by regular attendance and involvement at a Church, to this full-time, permanent leadership position. The successful candidate will join and lead the highly professional, dynamic, and industrious History Faculty. The successful applicant must demonstrate a deep understanding of the History syllabus documents across all secondary stages.

Candidates for this role will be required to demonstrate:
- an ability to lead staff in pedagogical and professional learning and improvement;
- strong communication, organisational and professional standards;
- a passion for teaching and a deep knowledge of the syllabus content, including the recent revisions to the syllabus;
