Marine Aide

We invite applications for a suitably qualified Marine Aide to serve our immediate requirements. This role requirement is for 3 hours per session- 4 sessions per week, 27 weeks for a total of 324 hours (FTE 0.164 per annum).

The Marine Aide would attend on each practical day for a 3-hour shift, covering equipment preparation, activity support, and pack-up. We are open to receive profiles for contract / casual / part time as we work out this arrangement.

Marine Studies Practical Schedule:

• Week A and Week B: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Role requirement each Term:

• Term 1: Weeks 1 to 9
• Term 2: Weeks 1 to 9
• Term 3: Weeks 6 to 9
• Term 4: Weeks 1 to 9

The successful applicant will be:

• Be able to provide quality Christian education to students in Years 7 -12
• Have a working with children check, first aid certification (or be willing to get one)
• Expect to be part of a God honouring collaborative staff team

All staff are required to be Christians, active in their local church and have a willingness to follow the College’s Codes of Conduct and child safe policies. Applicants should be creative and insightful, and able to demonstrate exemplary skills in student differentiation in all key learning areas. They must be able to adopt explicit instruction teaching practices.
