About the Role
Trinity Grammar School is seeking an experienced and relational educational leader to join the Senior School leadership team as Deputy Head of the Senior School – Academic Care.
This role has a strong focus on student academic wellbeing, learning engagement and support, with particular responsibility for students in Years 10–12. Working closely with the Head of the Senior School and the Deputy Head of the Senior School – Student Management, the Deputy Head – Academic Care plays a pivotal role in ensuring students are supported to achieve their academic potential within a culture of high expectations, care and consistency.
The position combines strategic leadership with a visible, day-to-day presence in the life of the School and contributes significantly to the smooth operation of the Senior School.
What You’ll Do
As Deputy Head of the Senior School – Academic Care, you will:
- Lead and oversee Academic Care practices in the Senior School, supporting student engagement, progress and achievement.
- Monitor and support students at academic risk, working collaboratively with Housemasters, teaching staff, academic support teams, counsellors and families.
