Ravenswood is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. We are seeking a Part Time Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Enrichment Department. Our approach is centred on understanding student variability and recognising the unique strengths, learning profiles and requirements of each student. The Learning Enrichment team works closely with teachers to ensure students can access the curriculum and experience success through responsive instruction, evidence-informed adjustments and respectful, student-centred support.
This position will provide targeted learning support to students with specific learning requirements.
This role includes:
- Working with students who require support to engage with classroom learning, assessments and daily routines through in – class support, small – group work and individual assistance.
- Supporting the implementation of Student Learning Profiles and Individual Plans in collaboration with classroom and subject teachers, using clear, structured and scaffolded approaches that help students organise, process and apply new learning.
