We invite applications from fit, energetic and motivated individuals to join our team as a Grounds person.

Under the supervision of the Head Grounds person, the successful applicant will assist with the maintenance of grounds, gardens and facilities to ensure a safe, vibrant and clean school environment. This position will commence in Semester 2, 2026.

The successful applicant will:

• actively demonstrate a commitment to promote the objectives and ethos of Christian Education as articulated in the Vision and Mission of the School.

• be a Christian, belong to a church and called to this ministry.

• be physically capable of performing manual labour.

• show initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.

• hold a valid C class Driver’s Licence.

Successful candidates will be required to complete a Fit for Work medical assessment prior to commencing employment.

Selection Criteria:

• Experience in general gardening, cleaning and other labouring tasks.

• Ability to support the Head Groundsperson with basic building and fixtures maintenance.

• Ability to perform routine maintenance on tools, plant and equipment. 

• Commitment to safe work practices.
