Role description

About the Role

As a Bus Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing and comfort of students with disabilities as they travel to and from school. You will travel on school buses, providing supervision and support during student commutes. Transport services are delivered in line with the Transport Assistance Program for Students with Disability, with some variation depending on student needs. This role suits someone who is caring, reliable and confident working with children and young people with diverse needs.

We are offering

  • Fixed term position: 4 May 2026 to 18 December 2026
  • Part time - up to 60 hours per fortnight, with 3-hour shifts scheduled in the morning and afternoon
  • Employment aligned with school terms, working 40 weeks per year
