Primary Teacher

St Joseph’s School, Clare, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our school team/community.

This is a contracted, full-time 1.0FTE teaching position, commencing at the beginning of Term 2, 2026 until the end of 2026.

The role requires a committed educator who values collaboration and demonstrates flexibility in a small school setting. We seek an individual who contributes to the vibrant culture of our school, with a willingness to undertake additional training as needed (Crossways).

Incentives are available for working in the country, including relocation expenses and additional NIT for graduate teachers.

The township of Clare is well resourced with retail shopping options, 2 supermarkets, cafes, banks, butchers, bakeries, numerous sporting clubs and facilities, and more.

Clare is an easy commute to Adelaide (1.5hrs) and just 50 minutes from the beach, 50 minutes from the river and in close proximity to the Flinders Ranges. There are many tourist attractions close by including wineries and bushwalks.
