Role description
St Gabriel’s School is seeking dedicated Education Support Officers (ESO) – Curriculum to join our vibrant and collaborative school community.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to supporting high-quality teaching and learning and who value their role in fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Working under the direction of a teacher, the ESO plays a vital supporting role in enhancing student learning by assisting with classroom programs, providing targeted student support, and contributing to the overall educational experience of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Support student learning through the preparation of high-quality resources, classroom materials, and learning aids
- Provide individual and small-group support to students under the guidance of the classroom teacher
- Assist teachers with student supervision during classroom activities, excursions, and school events
- Contribute to the creation of a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
- Build and maintain positive and respectful relationships with students, families, and the wider school community
Successful Applicants Will Demonstrate:
- A proven ability to develop strong, professional working relationships with students and classroom teachers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
