Position Details

Upper Primary Teacher


St Peter's Primary School is seeking a passionate, dynamic and enthusiastic Upper Primary Teacher to join our diverse, committed and vibrant team. Applicants must be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education. (Please note commencement date of 25 May 2026 may be negotiable.) 

Selection Criteria

  • Faith-filled individual who inspires students to be Christ-centred and embraces Catholic social teachings. 
  • Work co-operatively and collaboratively as part of an energetic and dedicated team of educators.
  • Develops positive, meaningful and respectful relationships with students, staff and families.   
  • Demonstrate excellence in teaching and learning, as an innovative and reflective practitioner.
  • Ability to analyse and use data to inform teaching and learning practices to raise student levels of achievement. 
  • Expertise in integrating digital technologies, in particular iPads, in classroom teaching and learning program.
  • Inclusive teacher who can support students with diverse learning, social and cultural needs through constant promotion of safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications Required

  • Relevant 4-year tertiary qualification.
  • Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School.
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education (or working towards).
  • An active member of Catholic Church.
