Role description

Position Details

Accounts Payable Assistant – Ongoing, Part-time*

2 days per week (days negotiable) ~ 8.00am-4.00pm
[*45 weeks being 40 weeks term time, 2 weeks start up and 1 week during each school holiday period]

Situated in the picturesque Avon Valley, 50 mins from Midland CBD, St Joseph’s School is a Catholic coeducational K-12 School with approximately 800 students on two campuses.

Selection Criteria

Special skills are needed and applications are invited from applicants who possess the following attributes: 
•    Proven experience as an accounts payable officer or similar
•    Word processing and spreadsheeting skills
•    Knowledge of accounts payable functions
•    Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to accounts payable processes
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy
•    Excellent organisational and time management skills
•    Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
•    Effective written and verbal communication skills; and
•    Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Qualifications Required

•    Knowledge of and experience with the CEWA AoS System is preferable but not required
•    Undergo Mandatory Reporting and Staff Code of Conduct training
•    First Aid Certificate
•    Hold or be willing to work towards Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School
