Position Details:
St Luke’s College, the only Catholic secondary school in the Pilbara region, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science teacher to join our team in Term 3 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic educator to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of scientific discovery in our students.
Position: Science Teacher
As a Science teacher at St Luke’s College, you will have the opportunity to design and deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity, foster inquiry, and build students’ knowledge and skills across the sciences. You will also contribute to cultivating students’ problem-solving abilities, scientific literacy, and understanding of the role of science in society.
Selection Criteria:
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that engages and challenges all learners.
• Demonstrate expertise in teaching Science, with preference for ATAR Physics or Chemistry.
• Develop innovative and curriculum-aligned learning programs that build critical thinking and scientific skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen the Science learning area.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster excellent teacher-student relationships.
CEWA Rural Incentives
Relocation Assistance: CEWA provides financial assistance or reimbursement for moving expenses, such as transportation of belongings and temporary accommodation.
Housing Support: CEWA offer assistance in finding suitable housing or provide subsidised or discounted accommodation options for teachers relocating to Karratha.
