About the position
The Deputy Principal – Catholic Identity & Mission will be appointed in accordance with the DOSCEL Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022, with remuneration set at Deputy Principal Level 4 (enrolment exceeding 2500 students). The role attracts a gross annual salary in the range of $192,662 to $197,784, commensurate with experience.
The Deputy Principal – Catholic Identity & Mission is a newly created role, reporting to the Principal and working in close partnership with the Principal and Leadership Team to provide both strategic direction and spiritual leadership across the College. The position is responsible for strengthening and enriching the College’s Catholic Identity, faith formation, and Religious Education.
As a key member of the Leadership Team, the Deputy Principal Catholic Identity and Mission supports the Principal in the overall leadership of the College and collaborates across all areas to ensure that Catholic Identity is authentically embedded in a contemporary, Gospel centred approach to education—one that is inclusive, dialogical, student focused, and holistic.
Professional Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Demonstrated commitment to the ethos, values, and mission of Catholic education, with a deep appreciation for Catholic education for young people and active participation in the life of the Catholic Church
