About the Role
Holy Family, Kelso has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Officer to join the team on a temporary basis in 2026. The role will be a part time position where the hours may slightly vary based on students’ needs. 

The Learning Support Officer will support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality instruction to students in a Catholic School setting. The role will involve:

• Works closely with the classroom teacher, shares observations about students, and maintains confidentiality and professionalism

• Open to feedback, participates in training, and collaborates with staff to improve practice and student outcomes

• Works with individuals or small groups under the direction of the classroom teacher, using strategies to meet diverse learning needs

• Positive attitude and effectiveness working in a team environment

• Previous experience in a similar role

• The desire to engage with and contribute to a Catholic learning organisations

• Capacity to create safe and supportive learning environments for student
