Role description
Ernabella Anangu School is the largest of eight Anangu schools, located in the scenic western Musgrave Ranges of the APY Lands, around 330 kilometres south-west of Alice Springs. The community is home to the world-famous Ernabella Art Centre and is rich in culture and language.
Our school delivers high-quality, dynamic, and culturally responsive education, empowering students to shape their own futures. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team in 2026. The successful applicant will work in a remote bilingual setting, working closely with Anangu Educators, teachers, and SSOs in a collaborative, two-way teaching approach that blends the Australian Curriculum with local culture and knowledge.
This is a flexible vacancy:
The year level taught will be based on the skills, strengths, and experiences of the appointed teacher, as determined by the site leader and school needs. We welcome all qualified teachers, including new graduates and those from various teaching specialisations, to apply.
We are seeking a staff member who:
Is passionate about empowering Anangu students through positive relationships and a focus on engagement and wellbeing
