Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistants - Special Needs for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Manning Primary School is a Kindergarten to Year 6 school located in the City of South Perth and proudly serves a diverse and inclusive community. Students come from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds, and the clientele includes children of Aboriginal heritage and diverse cultural backgrounds. The Role
As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you will work under teacher direction to support the delivery of planned education programs and contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment. The role involves supporting the development of students’ academic, social, emotional and physical skills by working with individuals and small groups, assisting the use of digital technologies, and helping implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
