Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs – Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Mount Lawley Primary School (PS) has a long and proud history of educating the local community since 1912 and is located just 4 kilometres from Perth’s CBD. Rebuilt in 2015, the school is well resourced with high levels of access to digital technologies that support contemporary teaching and learning. As an Independent Public School, we are a dynamic, innovative and inclusive community with a strong reputation locally and beyond. We are committed to fostering a learning environment where every student thrives through high-quality, evidence-informed teaching that is responsive to individual needs. Our approach emphasises the development of the whole child, celebrating achievement, progress and effort while amplifying student voice and agency. We provide inclusive, culturally rich learning environments grounded in wellbeing and restorative practices, supported by strong partnerships with families and the wider community. Through authentic leadership, collaboration and a focus on continuous improvement, we strive to create a safe, vibrant and supportive school where diversity is valued, relationships are strengthened, and all students are empowered to reach their full potential.
