Selection Criteria
KSC1 Leadership of Inclusion, Wellbeing and Engagement
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence whole-school approaches to inclusion, student wellbeing and engagement, including supporting staff to implement evidence-based practices that respond to the diverse learning, behavioural and mental health needs of students.
KSC2 Teaching and Learning for Diverse Learners
Demonstrated high-level understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and the capability to support the design, implementation and evaluation of differentiated teaching and learning programs that improve access, participation and outcomes for students with additional needs.
KSC3 Data-Informed Practice and Assessment
Demonstrated ability to use a range of data sources to monitor, assess and evaluate student learning, wellbeing and engagement, and to support staff to use this data to inform targeted interventions, adjustments and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
KSC4 Student Support, Case Management and External Partnerships
Demonstrated capacity in leading Student Support Groups (SSGs), coordinating individualised plans, and working collaboratively with families, allied health professionals and external agencies to support students with complex needs, including involvement in processes such as Disability Inclusion Profiles.
KSC5 Communication, Collaboration and Community Engagement
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build and sustain positive, collaborative relationships with students, staff, families and the broader school community to support inclusive pr…
